A Fisherman and his large family lived here. There were children everywhere I looked. Excluding the extended family, I believe seven of the children were his own. Their home was badly damaged from the Typhoon. They were left with a wobbly frame, a partial leaky tin roof, and no walls after Yolanda passed.
As we've done so many times before, bamboo poles were replaced with hardwood beams and we added to the frame enough supports to attach walling. A mix of recycled and new corrugated tin went on the roof and we deployed new amakan walling on all sides.
